About the event

Part One — Forage & Gather

We’ll head outside to explore and forage for plants, bark, berries, minerals, and other natural materials that can be transformed into color. We’ll learn to look at the landscape through the lens of a color-maker, gathering thoughtfully and sustainably along the way. We will come back to unload and sort, start any processes that may take time and share a snack.
