Natural ink workshop @ Marcel

Discover the magic and alchemy of natural inks! Learn the entire process of ink making from plant to paper. I gather materials all around me and am always discovering new materials. My newest discovery, Madrone bark, is a beautiful array of burnt sienna. I will share this and other ready-made inks with you, as well as the knowledge of how to paint with them. In class, we will craft ink together, paint, and explore a variety of handmade inks derived from plants and minerals. No experience necessary. I will guide you through to create your own little world of natural color.
